Rack or goblet the bell.
At the chest (goblet) or one hand at the shoulder (rack). Stand tall, feet hip-width.

Step back, not down.
One long step backward onto the ball of the foot. Hips stay square.

Lower straight down.
Back knee toward the floor, front shin vertical, torso tall.

Drive through the front heel.
Push the floor away with the front leg and pull yourself back to standing.

Alternate and breathe.
Switch legs each rep or finish a side. Exhale on every drive.
