Froth milk without a machine
-
Heat the milk first.
Sixty to sixty-five degrees, steaming but never boiled. Boiled milk will not hold foam.
-
Whole milk froths easiest.
Fat stabilises the bubbles. Oat barista blends are the best plant option.
-
Pump it in a french press.
Fill a third, plunge fast for twenty seconds. The mesh makes microfoam.
-
Or shake it in a jar.
Half-full, lid tight, thirty seconds of shaking, then microwave thirty more to set the foam.
-
Swirl, tap, pour at once.
A swirl and a tap knock out the big bubbles. Foam waits for no one.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
