Unclog a drain without chemicals
-
Pull the hair out first.
Most blockages are within reach. A drain snake or bent wire gets the bulk of it.
-
Plunge with a sealed overflow.
Cover the overflow hole with a wet cloth, then plunge hard twenty times.
-
Try soda and vinegar.
Half a cup of bicarbonate, then a cup of vinegar, ten minutes, then a kettle of hot water.
-
Clean the trap.
Bucket underneath, unscrew the U-bend, clear it out, reassemble with the seals seated.
-
Flush and prevent.
Hot water for a minute. A hair catcher stops the next one.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
