Tie a tie with a clean knot
-
Set the length first.
Wide end on your right, hanging about thirty centimetres lower than the narrow end.
-
Cross wide over narrow.
Wide end over the top, then underneath, then over again to the same side.
-
Bring it up through the neck loop.
Push the wide end up behind the knot from underneath.
-
Down through the front loop.
Feed it down through the loop you just made across the front, then pull gently.
-
Tighten and dimple.
Slide the knot up while holding the narrow end. Pinch below the knot as you tighten for the dimple.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
