Hem a pair of trousers
-
Pin the length wearing the shoes.
The shoes you will wear decide the length. Pin one leg, check in a mirror.
-
Measure, mark and cut with allowance.
Chalk line at the new length plus four centimetres for the fold.
-
Press the hem before sewing.
Fold twice, iron it flat. A pressed hem sews straight almost by itself.
-
Blind stitch, catching threads.
Pick up one or two threads of the outer fabric per stitch so nothing shows outside.
-
Press again and check both legs.
Iron the finished hem and compare legs on a flat surface, not on the hanger.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
