Pack a home first aid kit

Start with wound care.
Plasters in sizes, sterile gauze, tape, two elastic bandages, wound wash or saline pods.

Add the tools.
Scissors, tweezers, disposable gloves, a digital thermometer, a tick card if you walk in grass.

Stock the basic medicines.
Paracetamol and ibuprofen for adults and any children in the house, antihistamine, electrolyte sachets.

Put it where everyone knows.
Kitchen or bathroom, labelled, reachable without a chair. A kit nobody can find is decoration.

Date-check twice a year.
Tie it to the clock change: replace the expired, refill the used.
