Clean car glass without streaks

Clean glass last.
After the dash and doors: dressing sprays and dust resettle on fresh glass otherwise.

Use two microfibre cloths.
One damp with glass cleaner, one bone dry for the buff. Kitchen towels leave lint archipelagos.

Spray the cloth, not the glass.
Overspray on the dash smears back onto the screen for weeks.

Work the film in straight passes.
The interior haze is off-gassed plastic. Horizontal outside, vertical inside: streaks reveal their side instantly.

Reach the base with a backhand grip.
Cloth over the back of the hand slides into the windscreen’s bottom corner where the film is thickest.
