Surf an urge until it passes
-
Notice and name it.
"An urge is here." Third person, like weather. Naming creates the gap between impulse and hand.
-
Find it in the body.
Chest, stomach, skin? Urges are physical. Locating the sensation turns a command into an observation.
-
Breathe into it for ninety seconds.
Slow breaths, attention on the sensation, watching it rise. The peak feels permanent; it is not.
-
Ride the crest without acting.
Most urges break within a few minutes like a wave. You are not fighting it, you are outlasting it.
-
Move when it recedes.
Stand up, change rooms, start the replacement activity. The wave will return smaller; each surfed urge weakens the next.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
