Set your saddle height correctly
-
Start from your inseam.
Measure inseam in socks, multiply by 0.883. That is saddle top to bottom bracket along the seat tube.
-
Check with the heel test.
Heel on the pedal at the bottom: your leg should be straight without rocking your hips.
-
Look for the knee angle.
Pedalling normally, the knee should stay slightly bent at the bottom, around 30 degrees.
-
Level the saddle.
A spirit level across it. Nose-up causes pressure, nose-down slides you forward.
-
Adjust in small steps.
Five millimetres at a time, then ride. Big jumps confuse the body and hide the effect.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
