Remove a tree stump without machines
-
Choose the honest method for the size.
Under 20 cm: dig it out in an afternoon. Bigger: rent a grinder or hire it out. Chemical rotting takes years, and burning is usually illegal in gardens.
-
Trench around the stump.
A ring half a metre out, exposing the side roots.
-
Cut the roots as you find them.
Loppers for fingers, axe or reciprocating saw for wrists. Wash soil off cuts first: dirt kills blades faster than wood.
-
Lever it, do not lift it.
A long pry bar over a log block. Rock it, cut the strings underneath, rock again.
-
Speed the leftovers if you gave up.
Drill the top, keep it damp, cover with soil and compost. Fungi do it in two or three years instead of ten.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
