Make play dough that lasts
-
Mix the dry base.
Two cups flour, one cup salt, two tablespoons cream of tartar. The tartar is the elasticity.
-
Add oil and boiling water.
Two tablespoons oil, up to two cups boiling water with food colouring stirred in.
-
Stir until it leaves the bowl.
It gathers into a ball fast. It looks wrong right up until it is suddenly right.
-
Knead when cool enough.
Two minutes of kneading turns sticky into silky.
-
Store airtight.
A jar or box in the fridge keeps it for months. Crumbly means a few drops of water and a knead.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
