Clean a barbecue grate fast
-
Burn it off hot, right after cooking.
Lid closed, full heat, ten minutes. Residue turns to ash while you eat.
-
Scrape with wood or ball foil.
A wooden scraper or crumpled foil in tongs. Wire brushes shed steel bristles into next week’s burgers.
-
Oil the warm grate.
A folded paper towel with oil, dragged with tongs. It seasons and protects in one pass.
-
Deep-clean seasonally.
Grates off, warm soapy water, nylon brush; the fire bowl gets scraped into the ash bin.
-
Treat rust before it spreads.
Wire wool to bare metal on rust spots, then oil and a burn-in. Surface rust is cosmetic; flaking rust means replacement.

#1 becomes the Core. This atoma is young: submit a better distillation and take the seat.
No gear needed. Your pot, a timer and ice are enough. That is the point.
